Italians of the sub, do you remember a show called Kiss me Licia?

Apparently it was very popular in Italy in the 80s and its theme sung was done by none other than Cristina D'avena (Love that woman!). Speaking of, she sung a lot of Italian openings of anime so I definitely think she deserves more credit. I won't spoil too much but basically the show is about a girl who falls for a rock star. Typically 80s right?

Sure, but is there any actual question here? Also any reason to ask it in r/anime rather than over at italian subs like r/italy?

Cause I'm sure the general Italian population probably doesn't know about it?

Spanish here, we also remember "Bésame Licia". In fact, the anime arrived on Spain in TeleCinco, a lot of them (if not all of them) coming directly from Italy. Some they change the openings from another. Lupin with Captain Tsubasa (Campeones or "Oliver y Benji" in Spanish) is one example...

Sorry, your submission has been removed.

- This doesn't appear to be about [anime per our definition,](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/rules#wiki_everything_posted_here_must_be_anime_specific) you just want to complain about a fandom.
