The spotlight was fully on Gojo and as soon as he was out of the picture, it was full speed ahead while they have the chance.
God dang these power hungry old shits are something else
Ah, yes. The Yuji situation with YOU ARE MY SPECIALZ
I guess we could all use a little love in our heart.
I dont really get why he just didnt before but i guess he wants order in some way. He kills them all ands everything collapses.
I've seen wrestles play better heels, Panda lol.
"...Who's Gojo?"
*Not that dumb!*
Yuji doesn't have to play dumb, he should have just been himself.
Bro has no idea what the average sorcerer does and doesn’t know.
When the Kill Bill combined movie version came out recently and added its "new anime scene" that scene was trash, and also the scene was a Fortnite advertisement. And that imo make that whole part, if not the combined movie re-release, a imo a poorly done cash grab.
I think ep4 is MAPPA going "hold my beer" and then showing what a true Kill Bill anime tribute episode could look like. And of course, Kill Bill is derivative etc etc.
Still tho, I can't believe in the first month of 2026 we get Fate ep4, JJK ep4, That Kaguya movie, and also everything that is cooking in Frieren and Oshi No Ko... an amazing number of well executed releases and arguably perfect episodes.
Is it? The Fortnite thing was completely separate, and the newly-added scene is just an extension of O-Ren's backstory.
just had a thought
in the inevitable day JJK gets a Hollywood adaptation, Orange Cassidy should be cast as Yuji.
If dude won’t listen, I gueee Itadori’s gonna have to beat his face in until he listens. Gonna be a real slugfest next week.

Too many for Kirara's taste.
the "fight" between Yuji and Panda was great lmao. really selling those light taps. at least he went properly flying for the finish
aaand cliffhanger ending ofcourse... well now i'm curious to find out what tipped off Kirara
Did you forget he did that back in S1?
And hat helped is that the voice direction for both Hakari and Yuji is top-notch.
and why does every episode feel like absolute cinema (4min single shot what great acting 🙌 )
They really went way too hard on that Hakari/Yuji conversation.
It's sad to see [Yaga dead](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/acc7cf70d564.png); he was a good guy. [His cursed corpses were so cute!](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/74fa444f302b.png)
The fight between Yuji and Panda in this episode was [so fun](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/41f888d870c8.png), it felt like I was watching [some kind of wrestling match](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/3830be509324.png).
[That scene between Yuji and Hakari was great](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/f04b992f566f.png), lasting almost four minutes in one cut! I can't wait for [their confrontation](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/c8e62db7fe53.png) in the next episode.
I'll later update this comment with my screenshot albums from the episode.
3 seconds later: LOVE ME LOVE ME

Rotoscoped or not that is so damn technically impressive and difficult
That’s nearly 6000 frames btw. Holy talent
The Hakari & Yuji segment is animated in rotoscoped thanks to the episode director Andou confirming it.
Gosso (Series Director / Storyboarder for Ep 1 to 5 for S3) and Masami Andou (Episode Director for this episode) are the actors as reference for the scene.
Yuji is played by Gosso while Andou is Hakari for the rotoscope reference. Great acting from both of them.
> Episode Director Masaomi Andou played Hakari and Series Director/Storyboarder Shouta Goshozono played Yuji for the rotoscope reference they filmed.

Man, Yaga's got his own 100 Acre Woods with the Cursed Corpses he's created living peacefully in Tengen's domain. At least they're safe there, as he sees them off one last time. Because his bill has come due from Jujutsu Society without Gojo there to protect him and Gakuganji is ready to play him a requiem.
Kusakabe still a real one to the bitter end. Panda was being used as bait but Kusakabe frees him. I mean, Yaga reunited Kusakabe and his sister with Takeru, the child she lost and was desperate to see again, and who wouldn't do all that they can for a guy like that? Even if Panda is too late to save him.
Yaga leaves Gakuganji with the "curse" of how he was able to create life out of dolls, and just as Gakuganji is ready for a fight...Panda doesn't even bother with him. Panda is a panda, he knows there's no point in blaming Gakuganji for Yaga's death. But he's still a Panda who can cry over losing his father. And that's REAL humanity.
Yuji and Megumi are going undercover in Jujutsu Fight Club! All to recruit wayward 3rd Year Hakari (Kazuya Nakai!). Honestly, Yuj is like the perfect person to recruit into a fight club and is a complete natural at it...even when his opponent is Panda who had the same idea as the rest of the team. Just look at that play fighting! They really put on a fabulous show for the audience! TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP! And Panda sealing the deal with the worse acting finish of all time.
Hakari embraces passion and money, and his lover (?) Kirara is by his side cuddling up to him...they love what he's passionate about even if they don't love when he brings up his exes (of which there are quite a few because he comes off like a compulsive gambler). And they're both Jujutsu High 3rd Years.
Honestly Yuji can normally get along with anybody and he and Hakari actually hit it off at first. It really seemed like things were going well with Hakari opening up about how he wants to make his Fight Club legit in this turbulent new era of Jujutsu...until Yuji played dumb about Gojo...which is when Hakari knew he was likely a narc. And it seems like Hakari can make stuff...appear? He had like a door appear around Yuji when he attacked him? Either way, this mission has gone off the rails.
I love the direction of this episode a lot, even the character acting part was done in a spectacular manner.
I have really enjoyed how MAPPA has handled the adaptation so far. Mahoraga would be proud 🥹
I hope Gojo will clean them up once he gets unsealed.
FUCK FUCK FUCK ts is too much man
AIZO immediately playing after Panda crying felt a bit jarring lmao
[I loved the fake fight between Panda and Yuji](https://ibb.co/YTD2fjKD)
[Megumi jump scare](https://ibb.co/pjkJB4CM)
That section with Yuji and Hakari discussing gambling was fantastic
Based on Kusakabe's nephew (It was Kusakabe right?), does Panda literally have 3 souls who were Yagamichi's actual children? Thats crazy. The older sister already died by Mechamaru's hand "casually". I wonder if Yaga was secretly in pain while watching them in the exchange event. Also does this mean Panda will show signs or instability now that he doesn't have 3 souls to sustain 1 ego.
I like the final "curse" he gave to Gakuganji. Panda also acknowledges how even Gakuganji is ultimately a tool of the system, even though he believes and upholds it.
Seeing Yaga’s explanation for creating a self-sustaining cursed corpse needing 3 cores to stabilize, I wonder if it’s under the same principle as Kenjaku needing 3 “parents” to create cursed wombs.
And finally we meet them! I remember they name dropped three people in S1. After finishing S2, I rewatched S1 and realized one of them was Yuta. But still don’t know who the other two were. Guess now I know it’s Hakari and Kirara. And Yuta is definitely spot on describing Hakari as unpredictable.
Holy shit, never thought of that. Also cores are basically their souls right? How tf do you find something compatible then
Amazing, haha.
That last scene holding the “camera” for the whole conversation was an interesting choice.
RIP Yaga.
Yaga’s technique in the wrong hands is capable of fucking up the whole system since he basically creates life from death. The higher ups as we can see are corrupt power hungry bastards who felt threatened but also wanted to know how it works so they can use it too.
Yaga is basically Oppenheimer and knows how to make nukes, he doesnt want to give that knowledge because it obviously can be used in very bad ways.
Gakuganji is not EVIL as the higher ups, he is just as panda said, the blade who happened to kill him. By telling him how to make the nukes before dying he cursed gakuganji with the same knowledge - he now too can use that to either do good or do evil or be targeted by the higher ups. So the knowledge is not lost, its in another hands who is now cursed with it.
Hakari exposing course-selling grifters came out of left field, and I loved every second of that.
Also, the higher ups definitely gotta go after making my guy Panda cry.
