Jjk season 2 episode 17 logic questions

In S2 episode17 after sukuna Kills mahoraga, He Transports megumi to shook and masamichi and they were just chillin the whole time and look surprised seeing megumi there.

Where were they? Because ain't no way they were so far away that they didn't saw or felt both fights of sukuna.

I know they had to hold the position but damn like seeing the fight against mahoraga and the destruction and then it cuts to them chillin and smoking a cigarette is so weird lol

Also one other thing thats weird is that jogos ultimate technique meteor didn't even scratch panda and the sword guy (forgot his name) which doesn't make sense

there were 3 total barriers put around Shibuya. Shoko and Masamichi were well beyond the 3rd barrier. Even if they did see all the destruction, they wouldn’t not move as they have no combat ability to help and are there in that location in order to save the wounded. You can assume Sukuna only knows where to bring Megumi because of Yuji’s memories of the battle plan and Shoko’s designated position. The meteor didn’t hurt Panda and Kusukabe because they didn’t get hit. Sukuna gave them, little, but enough time to dodge if they weren’t too slow.

They were very far away outside all barriers. They couldn't see whats happening as there were many buildings in between, it's not an open field. As for chilling and smoking, thats her character she's a fighter, so she doesn't participate. As example would be a nurse in world war she know the fight is happening but not the exact situation

As for the panda and sword guy, they escaped the range of the attack. The sword guy is not a random he a grade 1 sorcerer below only to the likes of gojo,yuta

That's what i said , for me the lack of reaction to the things happening threw me of, but if the barriers conceal everything what you see and sound then it makes sense

its also worth noting taht besides
1. the meteos and
2. sukunas shrine attack

Most fight scenes were very much exaggerated from the manga, this also was the acse in the recent maki fight. Sadly modern anime tend to overanimate fight scenes which leaves large logic gaps. A very sad example as a huge fan would also be CSM the movie where the whole ending of the big fight is ruined by a single scene beforehand and denjis thoughness makes no sense anymore.

JJK suffers here the same issue especially with the sukuna fights, which had levels of destruction not present in the manga so your confusion is very understandable.

The main reasons listed by otehr commentators also apply, aka the trhee barriers and the fact shoko is the designated healer with no combat ability (and it would be munumentally stupid and shitty for teh designated healer to leave the designated evacuation and healing point as it means anyone arriving form isnide teh barrier for her healing cannot rely on her beeing where she is supposed to be, if they had more sorcerers with her abilities they may have one moving healer but even then it woudl make more logistical sense to have two healing stations.

Shoko is already emotionless after having dealt with so much death and trauma her entire adulthood. They have to keep her hidden and safe because she's the only/best healer. The whole point is for her to sit there and hope no one needs her abilities, with Yaga to guard her. She is a top priority over all the fighters on the front lines.

Whcih is also why she would stay in place, ignoring her importance as an asset, if she moves no one can gurantee to find her when needing healing, whcih is like the main point she is present.

Also the anime overexaggerates the sukuna fights by a lot, outisde the meteor it's unlikely anything wouldve been able to penetrate the three barriers, maybe sukunas shrine but taht also didnt really leave shockwaves.
