Hi WhosAdvocate, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Every anime is for adult men, if you're not a little bitch about it

My Anime List... please people, learn to use it.

Personally, I like *Knights of Sidonia* and *Blame!*, but if you're looking for something more serious, it could be the classic *Code Geass*, the *Gundam* series (the *Orphans* one is quite serious in my opinion), I'd say *Death Note* but it's more cliché, *Made in Abyss* (don't be fooled by the animation), *G.A.T.E.* (it's also lighter), *Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood* (the 2006 version is more comedic), *Evangelion* (the ending is quite strange, but oh well), *Attack on Titan* (good plots but a meh ending), *Madoka Magica* (its plot is dark), *Re:Creators* (good story, that's undeniable), *God Eater* (it's alright for a game adaptation), *Nier: Automata* (same), *Dead Mount Dead Play* (it progresses a bit slowly but it's consistent). *Berserk* (the original, the 2016 ones are really weird), *Parasyte* (*Kisseiju: Seis no Kakuritsu*), *Another* (the umbrella ☂️). *Darker than Black* (a tremendous gem), *A-jin* (the beginning is quite random, but it develops well), *Seikon no Quaser* (tremendous ecchi), *Guilty Crown* (good songs), *Elfen Lied* (gore), *Drifters* (from the same creator of *Hellsing*), *Maho Shoujo Kusei Keikaku* (absolute drama), *Black Bullet* (it will make you cry), *Steins;Gate* (a bit convoluted but very well written), *Hai no Hensou to Grimgar* (very good), *Desert Punk* (fun), *Chrome Shelled Regios* (post-apocalyptic), *Ghost in the Shell* (very good), *Texhnolyze* (very serious, its ending traumatized me), *Youjo Senki* (quite entertaining), *Clockwork Planet* (good premise), *Orange* (very good), *Great Teacher Onizuka* (fun), *Devilman: Cry Baby* (traumatic), *Fate* (the whole saga has its merits; you can start with *Stay Night*, or a standalone story like *Apocrypha*), *Violet Evergarden* (very emotional). These are some of my recommendations. Some are heavier, others lighter, trying not to fall too far into the shonen style. I hope you like them.

I'm an adult male and I love teenage girl band shows, so I'm going to recommend K-On, Bocchi the Rock, and Girls Band Cry.

Vampire Hunter D

Me. Straight, dude, 32. Love videogames, relatable underdogs, and comedy.

Anime that live inside my head:

1). "World Trigger" (ultimate PvP videogame, don't touch it until the reboot)

2). "Dungeon Meshi" (the wizardry/dungeons-n-dragons anime)

3). "Medalist". (Best life coach you'll come across)

Best of luck fellow internet user.

A lot of great recs. I’d throw in Gundam Ironblooded Orphans, Parasyte, and Vinland Saga

Cowboy bebop …best ever
