The novels don't really get spicy or anything. Pretty chill and the harem stuff is in the background with mentions of X being pregnant presented casually. There's a couple of chapters early on were the relations are more obviously stated but thats mostly to set the dynamic of MC being the village daddy for most of the girls who join early on.

They imply it in the anime, the manga is more outspoken. Like when he told the beaskin village he would only accept new villagers if they also sent men and they sent him a couple young boys. He was disappointed because he was trying to get someone to help share the load bangin all the elves. Like, brother is *tired*.
Oh and the mystery room with a big bed, a heavy door, and an exterior lock the elves built in his house. The anime just let that joke sit. It wasn't a joke. That's where he's passed around like a blunt.

Same here and I thought s1 was surprisingly great, out of all the similiar isekai it feels the most like someone just made an anime out of a farming/crafting sandbox game and I love it.
So many similiar shows lose focus on uninteresting side plots IMO when I just want to see more progression with developing a settlement & introducing modern tech into a fantasy setting.
Actually read the manga/webcomic as I assumed s2 would never happen, it ignores some of the ecchi/romcom humor IIRC but the tone is pretty much identical though just with less fan service
The manga chapters are super short so it does feel more like a comic strip vs a typical manga, so the show does feel superior as far as storytelling goes.
