It's directed by Shingo Yamashita? Looks so good!

The MV's a lot to digest. Please watch the movie prior to watching the MV. I can safely say that Cosmic Princess Kaguya is a love letter, as a story, and even as an ode to the Nico Nico Douga period.

Agreed, and I don't see that mentioned very much. Got pepe sylvia brained and was like "this whole movie is about vocaloid" a day after watching it.

It's an ode to the past but also a huge celebration of the current internet sphere

>the Nico Nico Douga period.
Instant watch, that period is peak internet.
Too bad I was too young to get into it while it was like that.

Ending things on a [pretty lewd note](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/353d5eb44e75.png). Having said that, it's nowhere as risqué as in the [actual film](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/cc4e6d7553e5.gif).

That partly made it into this MV at 1:41 (playing in the background; Kaguya has leapt out of her seat in joy and Yachiyo has started to roll onto her back)

Gayest handshake ever made

Man this is so cute. I love this and the movie so much

This movie is a love letter to Vocaloid and Nico era.
The ending is perfect.

Had fun with the movie but dear lord, that ending is a mess. Also wish it didn't chicken out on the yuri.
