should i still watch rezero even if i only like op mcs?

ive watched loads of romance animes and a little bit of action, but for action i mostly just like op mc ones such as solo leveling, one punch man, kaiju no 8 and stuff, but i heard that the mc in rezero is very weak, so would is still be worth watching? like is the romance good

the thing about re zero's MC is that he fails a lot throughout the story, if you can't stand watching the mc being dumb/flawed from time to time then i don't think you're going to like it. If you want to watch an anime with good story then i recommend it.

The romance is there, but probably not in the way you're looking for it. MC is OP but probably not in the way you're looking for it.

No one shows up and aura farms, there are struggles and hard times, but the MC can even die to thugs in an alley on the wrong day.

What exactly do you like about op MCs? Do you hate suspense, do you imagine yourself as this strong person? What do you get out of these?

The story is good and I'm a fan.
The MC is not OP, but his ability is clutch.
There is A LOT of trial and error and that may frustrate a fan of OP MCs.

But if you are looking for an isekai with an OP MC, give That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime a try.
Sure the title sounds dumb, and in the beginning he's not OP, but by the end of the first season he's busted and season 2 is even better.

The mc's might not have the greatest physical strength but his mental strength which grows through the series is just impeccable

I like how ReZero has that "underdog making a comeback" formula. I'd recommend watching up to episode 7 (it's a big request, 7 episodes is too much).

Also, the "edge" and horror loops back into ironic comedy and the soundtrack is very fun to listen to. I love Myth&Roid.

If we're talking technicalities, the protagonist is **technically** extremely strong. Sure, he looks lame, but his power isn't weak.

Well it’s my favorite anime so I might be biased but because he can just return by death he can just learn all his opponents weaknesses and strengths so I would say that’s pretty op also he has the shadow hand thing
