I have to say, it baffles how little censorship had back it then.
Like, I literally remember watching his heirlooms on cable tv. Oh those were the times. We used to be more civilized.
Miss you Toriyama-san.

Back when everyone wasn’t offended by everything. Truly great times.
Paks-of-Three-Firs2026-02-01 03:13
Ironic.
Bigbadbobbyc2026-02-01 03:27
Moronic thought thinking the past was better, back then half this shit was the devil's work, there where countless groups trying to make this stuff illegal people were murdered, rights were restrained, those groups gained power over years and are now leading political parties
Fucking stupid morons thinking people in the past weren't offended by everything, people are a lot less restrictive now with much left leaning desires for freedom of sexualisation and the like, Americans pretending shit was better in the past and y'all are offended by nipples existence
Honestly these "back when people weren't offended by everything" morons is fucking depressing, too fucking stupid to breath, their opinions mean diddly squat, fuck you, you absolute piece of shit I hope your life sucks for the rest of your days
Nihhrt2026-02-01 02:55
Man I forgot that Bulma fucking shot him lol
DissKhorse2026-02-01 03:09
Turns out she is Republican.
Raddish30302026-02-01 03:28
Lame.

Also [statistically accurate when it comes to mass shootings](https://polisci.barnard.edu/sites/default/files/inline-files/Emily%20Kramer%20-%20Right-Wing%20Extremism%20and%20Mass%20Shootings%20in%20the%20United%20States.pdf) also [red states have more gun violence.](https://www.congress.gov/118/meeting/house/116676/documents/HHRG-118-JU08-20231213-SD004.pdf)
Since 2019, gun violence has become the leading cause of death among Americans under the age of 18. Democratic and Democratic-leaning parents were roughly twice as likely as Republican and Republican-leaning parents to say they were extremely or very worried about their children getting shot at some point (27% vs. 14%).

Lies in Reddit and Chicago
DissKhorse2026-02-01 05:34
What proof do you have? You have none but go ahead and believe what you are told without any studies or actual evidence. Also you are a Redditor so I guess you are projecting on the "Lies in Reddit". Also it is ICE running down people with cars and then shooting them.
Riskybusiness6222026-02-01 03:07
Hah I have this on a vhs tape in an attic somewhere
AntimatterTNT2026-02-01 03:17
man dragon ball and dragonball z really have nothing in common other than character design and names
Dawn_of_Enceladus2026-02-01 03:25
Yeah, adventure Dragon Ball vs fighting Dragon Ball, they are basically two different subgenres with very different vibes.
Though Dragon Ball Z still had some of that adventure sense until the Androids Saga. I still remember how damn cool and weird the Sayan and Namek sagas were and how much context they added/revealed to the whole.
From Android Saga onwards it all became just fights with auto-contained stories and nothing that special, as cool and epic as they were.
Adrian_Alucard2026-02-01 03:33
Technically it's is the same show. I mean, the manga up until Buu defeat is just Dragon Ball. There is no Z
AntimatterTNT2026-02-01 03:34
and yet...
ProAmphibian2026-02-01 03:20
Bulma would be a great ICE agent

litllerobert2026-02-01 03:28
This is the first time I watched this and damn it feels so frash, light and fun, bro, if you watched this as a kid, you surely must have had a fun time
Sea_Equivalent_42072026-02-01 03:32
The first episode is just so well conceived. If you don’t get hooked watching this episode for the first time if you’ve never seen DB, then you’re brain is off. 🤣.

"Our story begins, as many stories often do, with young girl shooting a little boy in the face."
