Shows which play music over scenes often?
Hi! I love when shows play emotional music over their scenes. Whether it's intense hype battle music or slow songs over montages or dialogue, I'm wondering if anybody can suggests shows which frequently have this? I also find this feeling is captured often if the music has singing/vocals. Some anime I've watched already which fit this well and use music frequently are:
\- Your Name
\- Attack on Titan
\- 86
\- Kill La Kill
\- Clannad and Angel Beats (Which made me fall in love with this concept)
\- Edgerunners
\- The outros and some scenes in Re:zero
\- Some scenes in Tokyo Ghoul
Ideally looking for shows which use this very often (e.g. Kill La Kill) and not sparingly

I am sure that someone could point to a handful without music, but almost all have some.
And I remeber Yona of the Dawn having some music with vocals, but I’m not sure if it was often - but it’s worth watching anyway (fatasy, adventure, a bit of romancec, getting next season finally after many years)
Kids of the Slope. anime set on an island in 1960s Japan. It’s a coming of age story about a kid trained as a classical pianist discovering jazz music. The animation is insane for the jam sessions especially if you’re a musician yourself. I play a drumset and I’ll tell ya 90% of their animation for the drums is spot on and they going over a dozen little jam sessions throughout the show. Each episode is also named after a famous jazz standard.
Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad. Animation isn’t the best but the story is killer. It explores indie rock in 90s Japan. It likes to mix culture quite abit as well with a good chunk of its characters knowing and speaking English as well as Japanese. It’s about a kid learning how to play guitar and joining a band. Also it’s one of the few show that went through the effort to dub everyone of their songs with some of the songs being English by default. Music variety is kinda all over the place it goes from a few Beatles knockoff tracks to some punk rock shit to even a few ballads.
