I need some comedy anime recs. I have lost my tolerance for depressing stuffs for some reason. I need some stupid, comedic happy anime recs.

Yes. I realize many of the anime I listed aren't comedy at their core. They're action/fantasy. But I'm desperate for something funny. I've watched most of the popular mainstream anime like Naruto/OP/FMA/Bleach etc. I want something decent and fun to watch.

You should watch D-Frag, an underrated purely comedy anime from 2014. Also from the same year, Barakamon; if you want a comedy series with a more wholesome slice of life focus.

I've watched it. I liked it, but uh, an actual grown up dude falling for a literal kid is.....yeah, problematic. Probably was the norm for its time, doesn't stop making me feel queasy though.

I don’t think he fell for her. I think he grew a sense of duty to protect her. It doesn’t feel like a romantic situation, imo. Haha, if anything there’s more bro love in that show than hetero. lol!!

But Lmao. Have to agree, that 'bro love' is more apparent in the show than anything hetero. I think it was that Daikon scene? Which showed us the epitome of 'bro love', I still crack up from time to time when I think about it.
