Looking for a new more fun anime

Hey guys these are some of my favorite shows similar to what I’m after, I’m stuck inside from an injury and looking for something that isint too dark more fun

Naruto (💯)

Saiki Kusuo (💯)

Attack on titan (liked the first part that was more lighthearted better)

Death note

Dandadan

FLCL

Demon slayer

Black lagoon

Jujutsu kaisen (but not so into this new season)

Evangelion and lain (too dark for what I’m after tho)

**Shows I dislike**

Dragon Ball

One piece

Anything too freaky or sexual

Fairy tale

Generally not into anything medieval

Any help would be super appreciated as I can’t do a whole lot right now other than watch TV

Hi throwawayhelpmeplsg, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Have you started Frieren yet?

throwawayhelpmeplsg2026-02-01 21:39

No never tried it

SpeedyDoc2026-02-01 21:48

That's my suggestion to you. Try a couple of episodes of the 1st season and see if you like it.

queen-of-hearts-82026-02-01 23:27

I'm getting downvoted for this. But Frieren is good and everything, but so slow paced.

No_Cockroach24672026-02-01 21:39

100 Girlfriends.

PointlessCircle2026-02-01 21:43

Since you like Saiki (a favorite of mine) check out Witch Watch. It's great, very entertaining.

throwawayhelpmeplsg2026-02-01 22:33

Bet I’ll look into that

Khalid_khaled2026-02-01 21:48

Kaiju no.8 it’s funny

Tesuji642026-02-01 21:56

Bleach

My Hero Academia

Samurai Champloo

One Punch Man

Code Geass

Hinamatsuri

Tsukigakirei

Bunnygirl Senpai

Kaguya-sama: Love is War

queen-of-hearts-82026-02-01 23:28

Where do you stream bleach?

oshi no ko

rontrei2026-02-01 22:25

Angel Beats

Katiescanlon_2026-02-01 22:25

I would recommend hells paradise, chainsaw man, and solo leveling. They are pretty mainstream but all really good picks especially if you like action anime’s like AOT, demon slayer, and jujutsu kaisen.

Moon-Living2026-02-01 22:27

Kaguya Sama Love is war is hilarious! I’m a big fan of humor derived from ridiculousness

Electronic-Net-56162026-02-01 22:40

You can try The Fable. It's very light hearted and the story is simple

William11stan2026-02-01 23:17

Way of the houshusband seems like something you would definitely like also

Kagaya sama

Mob psycho 100

Frieren

Delicious in dungeon

Spy x family

HoneydewJust4You2026-02-01 23:55

try:
- Shangri-La Frontier

it has the pacing & power progression of JJK or Solo Leveling, but much more lighthearted & funny. Also adventuring!

This-Fix10582026-02-02 00:04

Bleach
Kiseijuu sei no kakuritsu

Live-Hat-67872026-02-02 01:34

Redo of the healer censored version.. the story is good

Otherwise996_9112026-02-02 02:38

Sounds like you need to watch Gurren Lagann. It's fun all the way through and feels like a anime stereotype of itself.

Regular_Ad_46092026-02-02 06:00

One Punch Man or Shangrila Frontier for sure! Lighthearted, fun, and pretty gripping from the jump
