Damm Bones going heavy in 2 consecutive cour recently. Gachiakuta and now Yomi no Tsugai.

They were always doing it with HeroAca, and now that's concluded so I guess all that production power has to go somewhere

If this is going to be half as good as FMA then we are in for a ride.

It's closer to FMA in feel than her other works. It's ongoing, so it's hard to say how it compares but "at *least* half as good" is accurate.

two cour, you have my immediate attention
now, is this any good based on the mango
Some_Trash8522026-02-02 15:44
It is quite good. And it has the mangaka of FMA behind it, if that helps.
pikkuhukka2026-02-02 18:23
i kinda dropped fma, but, sure, thats a good omen

This would serve well in filling in the Golden Kamuy-sized hole Sugimoto and Asirpa will leave behind.

So I guess the twist is that this takes place in modern times and not in the past? Cause I saw a guy take out a Glock and was shocked.

at 1:20 you can see they're fighting in a parking garage with a car in the background. Most definitely some settings in modern day.

Early spoilers (probably first episode or two)
[Yomi no Tsugai Manga] >!the manga starts off in a remote village that feels like a period piece, probably 1700s or 1800s, then it's revealed that they're just isolated and it's actually taking place in modern times!<
