"Jurassic Park" themed anime

Out of curiosity, has there ever been some "zoo" themed anime where the story centers around some "park" with unique creatures, doesn't have to be dinosaurs? Just want to revisit that sort of "Jurassic Park" feeling where the protagonist meets interesting "creatures," can be anything either humanoids or even fantasy (like dragons). At best, the only thing that comes to mind is Kemono Friends. Anything else?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Greed78, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

As a Kemono Friends fan, I really enjoyed Heaven's Design Team. It's about angels designing animals for god, and uses that premise to explain why animals are the way they are.

The manga "Dinosaur Sanctuary" is about what's basically a zoo, but all the animals are dinosaurs. I think there was one incident where at least one dinosaur escaped and was running around loose for a while, but most of the time the visitors are just peering down into a pit where the dinosaurs are, or something like that.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's an anime of this series.

You might like Mujin Wakusei Survive; it's based off a Jules Verne novel but adapted into a scifi setting with spaceships and aliens. It's kinda for kids/teens, but I enjoyed it; they get marooned on a desolate planet with lush and interesting flora and fauna. Lots of exploration/mystery.

Made in Abyss fits I suppose, they descend into the hellish abyss and frequently encounter new and unusual creatures, there's a lot of thought put into the biology of the creatures and how they live.
