bakuman ranting cus i havent seen enough

why doesnt anybody talk about bakuman?? ITS SUCH A GOOD SHOW and its a masterpiece in my eyes cus i havent seen a show with such a unique story and i like ALL the characters and seeing them achieve their goals and marry made me cry damn it😭💔 but seriously bakuman is peak the side characters are peak the mcs are goated and even DIO is in this man just watch it

seriously an underrated masterpiece and is in my no 1 anime spot

It's really not that unique, especially not anymore, Aoi Honō, Oshi no Ko, Look Back, there's like a couple dozen manga with the same premise of 'look at us, we talk about manga and surrounding topics such as the entertainment industry at large INSIDE a manga, isn't that so quirky???!!?!'

Used to be really popular.. unfortunately just like most other older anime, it's forgotten as time passes. I don't even see the series recommended to others anymore around these subs.

I would recommend checking out the manga version if you haven't, the anime actually cut out parts of the story, from here and there.

I agree, it's pretty darn good.

It's even better when you know it's essentially a story about the creation of Death Note by the creators of Death Note, which they wrote because they were frustrated they had to [Bakuman]>!extend the manga beyond the originally intended story to get an anime adaption.!< and that most characters in it are actually real mangaka just with changed names.

Death Note was super famous, but for some reason that didn't carry over to Bakuman.

Feels like I've seen more people who tried Platinum End and then complained it isn't as good as Death Note than people who tried Bakuman after watching Death Note.
